Electrical Engineer - Substation Design/Transmission/Equipment/T&D

Large Engineering firm is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer with substation design experience for a Chicago, Illinois location. 

Compensation is competitive and anticipated to be in the $60,000-$130,000 range, including base and annual bonus, depending upon experience level. Job Requirements:

Requires a BSEE and 2-10 years of experience.  PE License is preferred for senior candidates.  Must have experience with substation design, medium voltage or high voltage.  Must have experience with electrical design of substations including sizing of transformers, switches and breakers.  Must have the ability to prepare relay /control panel arrangement plans, material lists, relay and control schematics, external connection diagrams and wiring diagrams for electrical substation projects.  Additional experience with short circuit analysis is a plus.  Will be involved in all aspects of substation design for new stations and upgrades. Previous project management experience with the ability to work directly with the client and manage the profit for projects as well as supervise the design team is required for Senior level positions.
